Strange Dreams Of The Rat

I’m back after a long absence to tell you about the new strange dream I had. I was holding something in my hand. At first, I thought it was a baseball, even though it didn’t really look like one. It just felt like one in my mind. I remember pressing my thumb into it and noticing that it was kind of soft. That’s when I realized it was actually an orange. So I started peeling it. As I peeled it, I could see the inside of the orange, and it looked normal. But then I noticed that some of the fruit was stuck to the peel. I brought the peel up to my mouth and used my teeth to pull that part off. It felt weird. Not like orange fruit. Kind of soft and squishy in a different way. Then I realized it wasn’t part of the orange at all. It was some kind of worm or creature, and it had grabbed onto the tip of my tongue. I remember feeling really disgusted, but also oddly calm for a second, like I considered just leaving it there. Then I stuck out my tongue and reached for it with my fin...
